Introduction
World Contraception Day - 26 September - is a global campaign to raise awareness and improve education around contraception and sexual health.
This year the aim of World Contraception Day is to:
- educate men and women of reproductive age on the importance of contraception and reproductive health
- increase awareness of all contraceptive methods available; and
- through education and awareness, enable young people to make an informed choice about their contraception.
To celebrate World Contraception Day and help achieve these aims, www.your-life.com.au has been developed. Whether you are using contraception for the first time, are unsure about the best contraceptive method to suit your needs, or wanting to change your current method, this website can assist you when making your choices.
For more information about contraception speak to your doctor or visit your local sexual health centre.
Get informed, make the choice and be empowered to live your life to the full.
