World Contraception Day - 26 September - is a global campaign to raise awareness and improve education around contraception and sexual health.
This year the aim of World Contraception Day is to:

• educate men and women of reproductive age on the importance of contraception and reproductive health
• increase awareness of all contraceptive methods available; and
• through education and awareness, enable young people to make an informed choice about their contraception.
